120525: 4 Years of Shining★SHINee!

Wow. 4 years. It’s just amazing. You’ve been together since 2008- wait, maybe not 2008; even before that. I can’t even imagine how long you guys have stayed together. You 5 have been through so much already and have gone so far. Let me break it down for you guys.

Replay just killed all the noonas. Love Like Oxygen was my favorite was the first win. /cries Amigo: omg I can’t otteokhae otteokhae AMIGO hfauefbu- Juliette was the first SHINee video I have ever seen but no one cares about that was frickin’ awesome and colorful you blinded everyone esp you taemin and your afro. Ring Ding Dong was so dark and ffuuu you just made us all weep with those ling dings and colas. Lucifer was, - don’t let me start. Hello was just too sweet I died. Sherlock got us all “I’m so curious, yeah” in the classroom, in the store, in the bathroom, in the mall, and in our sleep.

Even though I sound a little weird… When I say this, I mean it. I love you guys. All 5 of you. You’ve all been great. From Replay to Sherlock! The hardships you’ve been through. Performing without Onew, without Jonghyun, Minho rapping on a chair, and Taemin with swine flu in the Philippines. To us, you’ll be five forever. Missing one member doesn’t make you the shiny SHINee we know. 

Although I honestly wasn’t a fan right from Replay days, I could say that I still enjoyed watching you guys grow. Onew has been performing in musicals and MCing. Jonghyun had his own projects outside of SHINee in SM The Ballad. Key as Frank in Catch Me If You Can, and his many featurings in sunbaes and hoobae’s songs. Minho being the man he is in Dream Team, then acting in Salamander Guru. Taemin also acted in THJ and had a cameo in Minho’s drama along with Key, and in f(x)’s Krystal’s High Kick sitcom. Not to forget his Immortal Song performances.

With all that said, I guess. I guess… Well let’s just say that all I can say now is thank you. Thank you for being SHINee. Thank you for smiling. Thank you for staying together. Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for the love. Thank you for the music. Thank you for being 5. Thank you for existing. Thank you for singing and dancing. Thank you for dreaming. Thank you for shining. Thank you for being patient. Thank you for the hard work. Thank you for the tears. Thank you for standing strong. Thank you for making us happy. Thank you, SHINee. May you still be all together for many, many more years to come. Shine forever, okay? We love you! Fighting!
